Young at Arts offers a year-round program of instruction in the performing arts. In the fall and spring, workshop classes take place weekly. Starting with the basics, and becoming increasingly specialized as the age level rises, students develop a range of skills in drama and music. The curriculum is designed to build strong traditional techniques as well as to encourage creativity through invention and improvisation.




AUDITION / TUITION

We look for a student who is disciplined, highly motivated and who can follow directions as well as work independently. Our audition process is highly selective. Young at Arts operates under a sliding-scale fee structure that is subsidized by the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations, and the City of Mount Vernon.
